Truth is a powerful thing!

It gives purpose and meaning to life. 

It enables us to identify lies.

It leads us to find answers and solutions. 

Pilate asked Jesus what truth was, and people throughout history have been constantly asking the same question? 

John 16:12-15 tells us that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, and that He will guide us in all truth. 

We should ask ourselves why do we believe what we do? Often our beliefs are formed in reaction to things we don't like or don't agree with. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to teach us truth, which is then lived out in our lives.

 Look at what Truth does!

Truth protects us  Psalm 40:11

Truth guides us Psalm 43:3

Truth leads us to goldiness Titus 1:1

Truth is not just to be learned, but acknowledged(lived) 2 Timothy 3:6 

Truth enables us to stand frim Ephesians 6:14

Matthew 7:24-27 tells the story about the person who built his house upon a rock, a solid foundation, and when the storms came, his house stood firm. This story speaks of our own lives, as we bulid them upon a firm foundation of truth, we will stand firm in the midst of the storms of life.
