The bible says that God is a trinity, Father, Son and Spirit.

But who is this Holy Spirit? Is it a force, an experience, a person??? 

The Promise of the Holy Spirit 

The bible talks much about the promise of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 44:3 I will pour water in the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground, I will pour out my Spirit upon your descendants.

Joel 2:28 I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh

Acts 1:8 You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

Matthew 3:11 He shall baptize you with fire and the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit - The Comforter/ Counsellor 

John 14:16-20 

Literally this means, someone who is called along side.

He will not leave us orphans (alone), but His Holy Spirit would be with us.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would be another, just like the first ( He would be like Jesus).

We need to ask ourselves the question - Do we know the Holy Spirit ?

 The classic Christian writer from the 1400's thomas Kempis said, it is not the things God gives or does that satisfies our hungry hearts, but God Himself, nothiing less.

The Holy Spirit is a person, one we are to walk alongside, to learn to recognize His voice, and listen to His guidance, and comfort.

Have you spoken to the Holy Spirit today? He is wanting to guide you in your daily life!!!
