Growing up we all would have heard the story of the Ugly Duckling! At first the little duck didn't realise who he really was. His circumstances had so shaped his view on life, and what he thought about himself. But deep down he knew there was something different about him. Many people are like that, not fully realising who they really are... a son or daughter of God!

All of us have been created in the image of God, we were created to bear the Father's image, but sin and life has marred that image.

At times we don't feel fully alive, but we come fully alive when we are restored to our rightful position as a child of the KING!

Many of us have experienced standing in front of a fridge waiting for somehting to jump out and say eat me. Life can also be like that for many of us. We stand there knowing that there isn't anything to have, and just hoping that something will change. 

In the story of the Lion King, Simba has forgotten who He really is. A son of the one true king.

Arise Shine

 Isaiah 60:1 Arise shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

2 Corinthians 3:18 And all of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirros that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him and reflect His glory even more.

To reflect the glory of God is  to be fully alive!

We need to remember that we are all a son a daughter of the King. As we allow His glory to shine upon us, and live as a child of God, that is when we will true live as we were destined to live.

Remember Neo in the Matrix came fully alive as he began to believe who he really was.
