What's Happening this year in 2009:

"A Heavenly Launch"  Sunday 1 February 5pm 

MetroLites is ready to blast off for 2009!  Come dressed as something heavenly, sparkly, shiny or spacey. 

"The Kingdom" Saturday 28 March 2-4pm

The Princess Theatre will be transformed into a castle ready for our princes, princesses and knights in shining armour.  An afternoon tea party will be served, and entertainment provided by Domino the Jester!

 "P Party"  Sunday 28 June 5pm

Ahoy there!  A twist this year - pirates in pajamas!  And of course - pizza for dinner.

"God Encounter" Saturday 12 September 9am 

Who needs kryptonite? Be ready to be blown away by God's powerful spirit, blasting through you touching every part of your being! This day will see you tap into God's power.

 "Splish Splash" Saturday 31 October 3pm

Let's get wet and have fun splish splashing.  Teachers be warned - you may be thrown in the deep end to be eaten by sharks!

 "Presentation Sunday" Sunday 29 November 5:00pm

MetroLites get to strut their stuff and show how cool (and cute) they are! Parents and friends will be astounded.  And we won't forget to give out gifts.

All our MetroLites leaders have Volunteer Blue Cards as required by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian of Queensland. We also have our own Child Protection Policy.
