Karl Marx and his ideas had a profound affect upon the 20th century. But their is a difference to  holding an idea and actually living out that idea. It was said that Karl Marx may have had one friend who was from the middle class, he also had servants until he died. He held an idea of equality, but still lived in ways which contradicted this. We as Christians hold ideas, but do we live these ideas out?

Bad things will happen to us, things that we often don't have any control over. But the condition of our heart is something which we have the power of affect. If our heart is good, this will affect every area of our lives.

Growing up we all would have heard the story of the Ugly Duckling! At first the little duck didn't realise who he really was. His circumstances had so shaped his view on life, and what he thought about himself. But deep down he knew there was something different about him. Many people are like that, not fully realising who they really are... a son or daughter of God!
