Wow what a response to meeting needs in our local community. Last year we reaised just over $3000 for local community outreach. This year we have seen this figure jump to over $10 000. Imagine a community that knows Jesus because we care!!
Thanks to all those people that have signed up to fund various projects in our community, ie white goods , food parcels, travel vouchers, youth alive tickets, supporting chaplain at State High, and campus worker at the University of Qld. Emergency funds, religious education in schools, breakfast clubs, outreaches nito local schools, holiday excursions for children from families in need, and the list goes on!!!

This month we have a specail focus on how we are reaching out to our community. Our desire is for a community that knows Jesus because we care!!
This coming Sunday night we start a new teaching series, "Abraham - friend of God". For many Christians their walk with God is one of duty, but God's plan for us is a life of friendship with Him. God called Abraham His friend, we will look at Abraham's life and learn how he walked as a friend of God.
